A Dramatic Welcome!

The Dublin Academy of Dramatic Arts (DADA) has been committed to quality training for young people in the areas of drama, speech, dance, musical theatre and singing since 2000.

The tutors at DADA have extensive experience in teaching Speech, Drama, Dance and Singing at all levels from kindergarten right through to acting and teaching diploma. Working with these tutors, candidates have successfully completed exams with several examination boards including The Royal Irish Academy, The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and London College, but above all learn to develop their own creativity in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

At DADA we believe that drama is a wonderful way to help develop one’s personality. Studying drama is not just about acting, it’s also about acquiring social and life skills that will stay with us throughout our lives.

As drama teachers, part of our job is to nurture those parts of our students’ personalities such as self-confidence, the ability to listen to others, the ability to communicate well, and tapping into our sense of humour. Drama gives us the gift of wanting to communicate with others, and the tools and confidence to be able to do so.
