Meet the Professionals

The teaching staff at DADA are a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated professionals.

 

Hilary Cahill

The director of DADA is Hilary Cahill, Hilary has been teaching Speech and Drama for more than 15 years and holds Acting and Teaching diplomas from the Trinity Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London as well as an M.A. in English literature. Hilary runs the drama programme at the school and directs the end-of-year shows. She also works regularly with R.T.É. as a voiceover artist.

 

Paula Kearns

Paula has been teaching dance to all ages for many years. She is highly qualified in the areas of ballet, tap, hip hop, funk and contemporary dance, having successfully prepared students for exams in many different dance disciplines. We are delighted to have Paula on board with us at DADA.

 

Michelle Buckley

The Singing teacher at DADA is Michelle Buckley. Michelle Buckley is a graduate of D.I.T. in Speech and Drama Studies and also holds a Masters in Acting Musical Theatre from The Central school of Speech and Drama.

 

Caitriona Ennis

Caitriona Ennis has been studying Speech and Drama at DADA for several years and has taken part in many of the school’s productions. Caitriona played the role of Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Rupert Guinness Theatre; Galinda in Wicked at Liberty Hall and the role of Benji in Adult Child/Dead Child in Loose End @ The Civic Theatre. Caitriona has also studied dance and singing at DADA. Caitriona is currently completing Speech and Drama exams with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and is studying drama in U.C.D.

 

Alannah Horne

Alannah Horne has been studying Speech and Drama at DADA for many years now. Alannah played the role of Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Rupert Guinness Theatre; the Wizard in Wicked at Liberty Hall and the role of Girl in Adult Child/Dead Child in Loose End @ The Civic Theatre. Alannah has also studied dance at DADA. Alannah is completing Speech and Drama exams with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Leinster School. Alannah is reading Drama and English at Trinity College, Dublin.
